Arriving by car
Coming from the West you will cross the border on one of the three road border crossings: Plovanija-Sečovlje, Kaštel-Dragonja or Požane-Sočerga.
Using ‘Istrian Y’ the Croatian highways you can quickly reach Pula (South) or Rijeka (East). You can check Price list for each section (coming from Italy pick up the red dots next to Umag than one near Medaki for Rovinj exit to calculate a price).
Alternatively you can choose to follow the coast and avoid toll charges (recommended).
Arriving by plane
You can use a number of airports such as Pula, Rijeka or Trieste and all have cheap air liners operating from March usually.
There is a bus service to Rovinj or car hire. The cheapest car hire is one from Trieste.
